Hi! I'm Randi. I am a full time mom, and never thought I would be. After I married my husband I taught school and loved it. That is until my oldest daughter was almost two years old. I realized that even though I loved my students, I spent more time with them than my own daughter. So...I made a change, and now I am a crazy, non- stop, cooking, cleaning, car pool, play date, church going, stay at home mom.

Turkey in a Bag!

Please try this Turkey, I have made it on many occasions and it just keeps getting better and better!

Ingredients:

Turkey
Reynolds cooking bag ( turkey size)
1 lemon
2 sprigs of Rosemary
1 onion
2 stalks of celery
Oil
Spice mixture made up of equal parts of salt, rosemary, paprika, marjoram, sage, thyme. ( I usually use about 2 tsps of each; I go a bit heavier on the salt)

Preheat oven to 350. Cut up celery and onion and place it in your cooking bag. Place the bird in the bag and rub it with oil. Stick the lemon (cut in half) along with the sprigs of rosemary into the cavity. Then rub the spice mixture all over the bird. Don't forget the wings!

Follow the directions on the Reynolds box for how long to cook...but I stick a thermometer in the bird while it is cooking. I take it out once it has hit 183 degrees.

TIP!!!!! Don't cut it! Let it rest for at least 1-2 hours.
